Product Details

it has glass optics and a hard to scuff outer plastic casing. The same finder was with Rollei label was also sold as an accessory for the Cosina made Rollei RF 40/2.8 lens. These are apparently the ONLY 40mm brightline finder ever sold to the public. The 40 brightline viewfinder was in production about two years before the Voigtlander 40/1.4 was introduced. Like most wide angle finders, it has no manual parallax compensation -- but it does have parallax compensation marks in the finder. The lower dotted brightlines indicate the approximate view at about 3 feet. The upper solid brightlines indicate the approximate view at infinity. If you want to shoot your 40/2 M mount from your Leica CL, Minolta CL, or Minolta CLE on another M body, this is the finder for you. Ther Show More
